Spanish Program

In keeping with the provincial mandate to offer second language programs at all Albertan schools, several years ago the Living Waters board led the school through a process to determine which language ought to be offered here.  They began with the question, “what second language program will best help us to accomplish our mission?”  

At LWCA, our focus has always been international in scope.We desire to graduate students who are aware of their responsibilities as global citizens. To this end, we have developed missional ties to Guatemala and have been sending mission teams there since 1998. Spanish, therefore, seemed a natural fit for our school community.  We have been continuing to grow our Spanish language program over the last 4 years, and are now pleased to offer Spanish classes from grades 4 to 12 inclusively.
